Having guests at the Maison de la Réconciliation is always a special moment. It is not only an opportunity to share the work of the mission, but also an opportunity to involve those who come to visit us in the concrete support of all the people who dedicate themselves every day with commitment and passion to this cause.

It is important to remember that visiting a mission does not mean being mere spectators, but rather getting involved, making your contribution and becoming an active part of the change.

The Testimony of Dana, Ezra and Hadessah
This month we had the joy of welcoming some very special guests: Dana, Ezra and Hadessah Dailey, who came directly from the United States. Their presence has been a great help for us and an immense joy for the children. With their words, they wanted to share their experience, which we share here:

“On November 1, we boarded a plane bound for the Republic of Central Africa. What a journey! But it was really worth it. When we got off the plane and were able to admire the chaotic beauty that fills the streets from Bangui to Bimbo. Soon after we arrived at this little bubble of paradise in the midst of chaos, known as Maison de la Réconciliation, it was wonderful! The next day the school was filled with children. Their sweet faces will remain forever etched in our memories. Having the opportunity to teach the students a few words of English, do manual work with them, brush their teeth together and give them some crayons was incredible, because the experience was much more valuable than anything we could give them. The kids were so happy to come to school and excited to learn, and this attitude is a testament to the amazing work the Lord has done through Desi. Desi is an inspiring force, who has done so much for this community! The love and respect that students and teachers have for her clearly stems from her constant obedience in doing what God has called her to do. The work she does is not easy, and Desi sacrifices a lot, but she does it with determination and passion! We are so grateful to have been invited here to witness God's great work!”

The words of Dana, Ezra and Hadessah are an encouragement for me to continue to do my best. Their visit was a reminder that the mission is a team effort, where every contribution, small or large, can make a difference.
